Ⅰ. Course Objectives
This one-Semester course is designed to provide a conceptual background of the enterprise resource planning. In this course, you will see and integration of both information technology knowledge and business processes knowledge. We combine knowledge about biz, the profession, information customers, information technology, information systems, and accounting to create a framework for the Advanced Topics on Enterprise Resource Planning Course.
The objective of this course is to instill a philosophy of accounting professionals in the information age. Understanding organizations(their activities, processes, and the information needs of organization stakeholders)is the focus of this course. Information technology is presented as an enabler of organization activities and objectives, rather than as the focus of study.
Ⅱ. Pre-requisite
Basic knowledge of financial accounting is preferred.
