Course Introduction
This course is intended to teach students reading and critical thinking skills.
教學目標
Teaching Objectives
The teaching and students’ learning goals of this course are as follows:
(1) They will learn to analyze texts, critically evaluate texts, and intelligently respond to texts;
(2) They will learn to find, evaluate, and analyze primary and secondary sources for appropriateness, and validity;
(3) They will learn to integrate personal experiences, values, and beliefs into larger social contexts.

Evaluation methods
1. 面授出席、 網路上課出席與互動(10%)、議題討論(20%)
2. 小考,作業,報告,線上評量 (40%)
3. 期中考期末考筆試（30%）
