課程簡介
Course Introduction
知名研究機構 Gartner 2021 年 Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services 的魔力象限 (Magic Quadrant)(https://aws.amazon.com/resources/analyst-reports/gartner-mq-cips-2021/)，AWS、Microsoft、Google 為領先者 (Leader)，Alibaba Cloud 為遠見者（visionary），Oracle、IBM、Tencent Cloud 為利基玩家 (Niche Player)。

由於 AWS 最早進入市場，並且為領先者中的領先者，許多企業已在使用 AWS 的雲端服務，熟悉 AWS 的雲端架構，不但有助於就業之競爭力，對於了解其他雲端廠商的架構，也有幫助。

本課程介紹 AWS 之雲端運算架構 (Cloud Computing Architecture)，由於本課程之授課教師為經 AWS Academy 認證的講師，凡修習本課程的同學均可使用 AWS Academy 提供的學生套件，學生套件包含課程手冊、實驗室存取權、練習考試和認證考試的折扣優惠券。課程手冊為 AWS 原廠的學習教材；實驗室存取權為 AWS 平台的帳號與密碼，可實際在真實的 AWS 平台上練習10個以上的實驗，每個實驗均有詳細的操作步驟，幫助同學由「做中學」。
教學目標
Teaching Objectives
本課程分為二個部分：AWS Academy Cloud Foundations 與 AWS Academy Cloud Architecting

完成 AWS Academy Cloud Foundations 後，可具備下列能力：
1、Define the AWS Cloud
2、Explain the AWS pricing philosophy
3、Identify the global infrastructure components of AWS
4、Describe the security and compliance measures of the AWS Cloud, including AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)
5、Create a virtual private cloud (VPC) by using Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC)
6、Demonstrate when to use Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), AWS Lambda, and AWS Elastic Beanstalk
7、Differentiate between Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS), Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS), and Amazon Simple Storage Service Glacier (Amazon S3 Glacier)
8、Demonstrate when to use AWS database services, including Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS), Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon Aurora
9、Explain the architectural principles of the AWS Cloud
10、Explore key concepts related to Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon CloudWatch, and Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling

完成 AWS Academy Cloud Architecting 後，可具備下列能力：
1、Make architectural decisions based on AWS architectural principles and best practices
2、Use AWS services to make infrastructure scalable, reliable, and highly available
3、Use AWS managed services to enable greater flexibility and resiliency in an infrastructure
4、Increase performance and reduce cost of a cloud infrastructure built on AWS
5、Use the AWS Well-Architected Framework to improve architectures that use AWS solutions
評量方式
Evaluation methods
1、線上平時測驗 10% （每次測驗有 2 次答題機會，交卷後立刻公布分數，但不公布對錯，對錯與解釋將於測驗結束後公布，測驗之最終成績為取高分計算）
2、線上議題討論 20% （每次的討論議題，每位同學皆需發言至少 1 次，並回應同儕意見至少 2 次，請避免無意義之發言）
3、線上作業 40% （作業請至 AWS 的學習平台實作 Lab，並以 PDF 格式繳交至 eClass，作業內容須附上該 Lab 內各 Task 完成後的截圖，並請注意繳交期限，逾期不得補繳）
4、期末小組專案 20% （小組成員由授課教師隨機指定，以訓練同學與任何人共事之能力。各小組自行選擇報告的題目。每次報告除繳交書面報告外，並應進行口頭報告，口頭報告以 Webex 於線上舉行。每次報告每位同學均應繳交同儕互評表，同儕互評之結果將影響同學在小組專案部分之成績）
5、學習歷程紀錄 10% （eClass 學習平台具有學習分析的功能，包括課程的造訪次數、停留時長、影音查看次數、影音查看率、影音觀看時長等，各項統計之累計值越高，此項分數越高，反之，各項統計之累計值越低，此項分數越低）
