課程簡介
Course Introduction
RtD research through design is a research paradigmfor adapting the design methodology for researches. In digital media design,research is to understand the design in its cognitively or digitally.

For us. design is communicated via its visualdigital form. Diagrams created by designers are the visual artifacts that aremostly in digital. By studying the (digital) diagrams and the transition amongthem, we learned how digital designers think visually and logically. ArchitectsPeter Eisenman and other digital designers adapt diagrams even further as adesigner style of writing. Therefore, the synthetics and semantics of diagramsmight be able to converted into a sequential delegation of design (form).

Evaluation methods
Courses will be a mixture of lectures by the instructor and readings led by students. One term project will be consisted of data collecting, finding the logic of data, visualizing the data provided by designers.
