The revised provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (hereinafter referred to as the OSH Act) were promulgated by the President on December 19th, 2025. The amendments focus on strengthening disaster prevention at the source of construction projects, enhancing safety management of subcontracting, improving the prevention of workplace bullying, increasing penalty amounts, and expanding the public disclosure of violations. These measures aim to elevate workplace protection from the origin to operational levels, demonstrating the government’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the physical and mental well-being of workers.

To assist enterprises in implementing the law and protecting workers’ rights, as well as to inform the general public about the recent amendments, our agency has produced a concise promotional guide to the OSH Act amendments (see attachment). The guide includes illustrated summaries of key amendments, procedures for reporting and investigating workplace bullying, and details of various penal provisions.
