Following the university-wide add/drop period, students who, due to special circumstances such as learning difficulties, obtain approval from their course instructor and department, may apply to withdraw from one course (regardless of course type) within one week prior to the midterm examination. After withdrawal, the total enrolled credits must not fall below the minimum credit requirement per semester (16 credits for freshmen to juniors, 9 credits for seniors and continuing education students; undergraduate extended students and first-year graduate students must retain at least one course); students who have already reduced credits in the undergraduate program are ineligible to apply.
Tuition fees for graduate students and undergraduate extended students are calculated based on the course enrollment status after the add/drop deadline. If a student applies for withdrawal within one week before the midterm exam after the add/drop deadline, the tuition fees for the withdrawn course will not be refunded.
